The Courage to Let God Turn the Page

"Maybe a chapter just closed — a job, a marriage, a season you poured yourself into. You know the ache of standing at the end of something and not yet seeing the beginning of what's next. That's exactly where this book meets you."

Inside the Book

A Testimony,
Not a Textbook.

This isn't a book written by a man who has it all figured out. It's the real arc of one life — the call, the running, the cost of yes, and the seasons God closed so He could open new ones. You'll find your story somewhere inside mine.

01
The Knowing
Before the Light of Day

Before God ever called me, He had already been writing my story. The knowing came long before the calling.

02
The Years I Ran
Facing the Disqualifiers

When the loudest voice against me was my own — and the file of reasons I kept on why I wasn't enough.

03
The Kitchen Table
The Word That Turned Me

The conversation with my grandmother that finally turned my no into a yes.

04
Equipped After the Yes
He Qualifies the Called

The gift showed up after I obeyed — not before. God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called.

05
Pull Down, Then Build
Releasing What You Built

Why I had to open my hands around the very church I'd given my life to — and what God planted next.

06
God Is Holding the Pen
The Best Isn't Written Yet

When you feel like you're walking away from something, you are actually walking toward something.

"When you feel like you are walking away from something, you are actually walking toward something. I wasn't losing my ministry. I was being turned, one page at a time, toward what God had been writing all along."

What Early Readers Say

It meets you
where you are.

The intro is very inviting — it grabs your attention and makes you want to read more. The first chapter is very raw; it's authentic and it reads that way. The questions at the end are very much for the seeker that wants to turn the page — and the scripture fits perfectly.

I lived every chapter of this book before I wrote it. I grew up in the Boyd Hill Projects. I ran from my calling, then said yes at an altar. I planted a church in a borrowed room with a red hand in the window, pastored for fifteen years, and later had to release it. I learned the hard way that when it feels like you're walking away, you're actually walking toward — and that God was holding the pen the whole time.
